Following
the invention and development of the Finlock Gutter in the early
1950s, several methods of lining the gutter were tried. The only
completely satisfactory method was that employing aluminium foil
and hot rubberised bitumen.
As
manufacturers of the gutter, we recommend that our system of aluminium
foil and hot rubberised bitumen be used, for over many years,
it has out performed all alternatives.
Our
experience has shown that provided the gutters were lined originally
with aluminium foil and hot rubberised bitumen they will need
relining at approximately 20 year intervals. It is clear, therefore,
that by a combination of our selection of precisely suitable materials
and our experienced organisation, our system is by far the most
cost effective available.
Finlock
concrete gutters have been extensively used on Council houses,
factories, churches, schools and even public conveniences for
the past 45 years.
They
provide an attractive feature on any type of building combined
with considerate savings, both in used, suitably modified, with
almost any type of roof construction and the rear of the gutter
may be used to form lintels above openings.
In
order that we may submit our quotation, it is necessary merely
to forward to us, the drawings relating to the project in question,
indicating the positions in which rainwater downpipes are to be
fitted. BACK UP TO TOP
